UNIQUENESS OF HINDU RELIGION 2

HINDU RELIGION is unique in so many respects with the other religions of the world, as I had pointed out in my last blogs; it is the only religion of the world which has understood the meaning of pranam and taught this to the world.
It is the only religion which has goddesses and that too associated with the god not as inferior but on par. Even some streams of hindu samaj who believes in SHAKTI or are the worshiper of shakti, believes that all this world is created by a shakti. Even the gods are created by SHAKTI.  To some extent it is very much true also.
In actual this world is created by the women. She has given birth to the men for her help and assistence. I don’t know actually whether Shakti is the origion or GOD is origion and created Shakti afterwords, but one thing is sure and nearly all hindus believe i.e. Shakti is not less than GOD rather a undivided part of God. God and shakti are not two but one and the same: so closely associated; integral part of each other that it is foolish to seprate them.it was because of this that Lord Shiva shown himself united with Goddess Parvati and known as 'Ardhnariswar'
It is the most oldest religion of the world. When we go through the books of ancient history the date of hindu origion goes back to some 5000 years back. It is the time of some oldest civilisation. It is as per history only, because we can’t go beyond history as there can’t be any proof of that. But it is certain the it is the oldest religon surviving of the world.
It is the third largest religion of the world after Christinity and Islam. There are 2 billion followers of christinity and 1. 3 billion followers of Islam. Hindu religion has 900 million followers, but if we add followers of Buddhism Jainism and Sikh religion then figure comes out to be more then 1. 3 billion and hinduism becomes the second largest religion of the world. These all religions came out of Hindu religion and still are a part of it and have a similarity.
This is the only religion which was started by the God Himself and not by Prophets as in other religions. Its Holy books were written by not only one prophet but so many saints and Rishi’s. each added his teachings and prospered the religion. Its books are so ancient and eternal or we can say were written in the beginning of the YUGA. Old books were in sanskrit and Devnagri Lipi. These books are so old that at that time no method was there to store them. Oldest book i.e. RIG VEDA is as old as 5000 years and at that time there was no method to preserve it in any form. It was passed from saints to saints by memorizing. This continued for nearly 3000 years or so and records were satrted around 1st century.
The main philosophy of hindu religion is the welfare of all the living beings. Prayer starts and ends with the Mantra
“Sarve Bhavantu Sukhina; Sarve Santu Niramaya;
Sarve Bhadrani Pasyantu; Maa Kashchid Dukh bhag Bhavet;
Which means all should be happy, healthy and no one must be “dukhi” unhappy. Same philosophy was followed and spread by lord Bhudha and Lord Mahavir. Main mantra or principle of Veda is “Vashudhav Kutumbkam” or the whole world or earth is a family and all are the sons of the same father or God; so no one is there to hate.
Hindu religion preaches one GOD yet there are appox 330 million gods and goddesses. Nearly all the sakhas (branches) and people believe in the uniqueness of ALMIGHTY GOD and His Superficial powers yet there are so many gods and goddesses.
